What Do You Like About Minecraft?

You all have probably heard of the indie sensation that has gotten the world to start building, Minecraft.

But how do you play? Do you journey into the world, fresh from the menu screen? Or rather do you hit up the forums and download around twenty mods each time you log in? Which is more fun for those of you that do both? Personally, normal Minecraft gets boring for me after roughly 30 minutes. Mods, however, add that extra flair needed to keep my ADHD in check. So which do you prefer, mods or no mods? Also, if you prefer mods, please list which mods you prefer, if a pack or just individual. (Personally, I found a plane mod to be fun. Insert Top Gun music and you just feel badass.)
