Konami has announced a new action game entitled Tornado Outbreak. The cartoon-style game casts the player as a swirling tornado and will be released for PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360 and Wii in October.

An all-action mix of collection and destruction elements, Tornado Outbreak drops one or two players into a combat zone, where they are charged with wreaking havoc within a series of fully interactive worlds. But all is not what it seems? Sinister forces have deceived you to believe that your destructive behavior will save an epic hero. In reality, you?re working for evil. Take control of a dynamic tornado as you tear through open environments, chewing up the landscape and spitting out everything in your path.

The more you destroy, the bigger you grow as you work against time based, collection and point challenges in the search for hidden elements and enemies from another world. Tornado Outbreak provides expansive sandbox type gameplay and real time destruction allowing gamers to destroy what they want, when they want, where they want!

Tornado Outbreak delivers humour-filled missions and varying objectives, ranging from blustery mischief at a local trailer park to gale force feats in the middle of sprawling cityscapes. Diverse action packed gameplay provides both casual and hardcore gamers the ability to tear through towns in beautifully stylized high definition action! 

Double the destructive power by playing co-operative multiplayer where two players drive through environments picking up and tossing everything in their way in an effort to do battle against the evil Omegaton. The items in a player?s path range from the usual rusted tractors and rustic farms, to the strange and unexpected as you tear your way through increasingly complex and crowded areas around the world. Through large open worlds, users can take control of how objects are damaged and destroyed with the active destruction game mechanic.

For added replayability, Tornado Outbreak offers multiple missions and the chance to destroy different objects within environments to maximize each level and earn extra points.

With one highly successful film already available and an eagerly anticipated second movie releasing alongside the game, it will be impossible to escape Hellboy this summer.

Boasting a storyline with input with input from Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy and Giullermo Del Toro, director of both Hellboy movies and retaining all of the visual elements and dark humour so vital to the success of the comic books, this game should appeal to all Hellboy fans. In another nod to the forthcoming film, the voice over work features all of the main cast members from the movie including Ron Perlman, Selma Blair and Doug Jones.

The Science of Evil, as you would expect, is a brawling action title that really shows you the brutal strength Hellboy possesses. His powers can rip apart the scenery and levels and use them as weapons against the enemy and this is often a necessity as wave upon wave of attackers descend on Hellboy. This is a classic action game with all of the modern looks and feelings you would expect from the power of the next generation consoles.

The game has a dark and moody look interspersed with elements of good humour and plenty of action and challenges to keep players entertained at all times as Hellboy trails the sadistic Hermann von Klempt and his attempts to unleash evil on the world.

Close combat action sequences are key to the player progressing in this title and contextual grappling commands enable users to string together elaborate combination attacks in addition to the scenery manipulation and brute strength attacks you?d expect from Hellboy himself.
