Now that we have all the statistics for consoles from 2011 it's easy to say that Microsoft sold for the first time in it's history more consoles than Sony in one year!

There were 14.9 million Xbox360 sold in 2011 and 14.1 million PS3's sold in the same year. Wii only sold 10.33 million.

In the last two year Microsoft's Xbox360 got surpassed at sales by the other two consoles (PS3 and Wii) but Microsoft managed to win the whole year sales by making some great offers for the Christmas!
