After 5 tournament days Na'vi team won the first DoTA 2 contest after beating the chinese team EHOME. The final score was 3-1.

The winners also got 1.000.000$ wich is a pretty big prise for a gaming contest.

Konami announced that the soccer simulator PES 2012 will have two demo versions.

The first version of the demo will have an older version of the game. It will feature 6 teams: Manchester United, AC Milan, FC Porto, Santos FC, Napoli and C.A. Panarol. Each game will last 10 minutes. The players will be able to test the new control system and the new AI.

The second demo version will feature the actual version of the game and will be launched somewhere at the middle of next month. The game will last 10 minutes but it will feature other teams: Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich, Rangers FC, Club America, Sport Club Internacional and FC Internazionale Milano.

Both demo versions will be available for PC, Xbox360 and PS3.

This year at gamescom there was the highest number of visitors in expo's history.

275.000 visitors there was at gamescom 2011, 21.000 more since last year. In one of the days visitor's access was temporary blocked because the limit was reached (62.000 people).

Next year gamescom will be between 15-19 august.

Trendy Entertainment announced that on october 19 they will launch the Dungeon Defenders RPG.

Players will be able to play with another 3 friends and they will have to build towers and stop the monsters that will attack their base.

The game will have 15 maps.

With every monster killed, players will get XP, money or objects that can be useful for future upgrades.
