During the game, hold L1 + R1 and press START, UP (D-pad), START, DOWN (D-pad). You should see the debug menu appear. Enter the following codes for the desired effect. NOTE: Disables Trophies.

Enter codes for each character during the "Campaign/Bonus/Options" main menu. You will then need to go to the Bonus menu, select Generation 1, then turn on the Robo-vision skins. This will change the character's appearance to their Generation 1 skin when you play a mission.

Alternate Method to Unlock Ratchet
If you don't want to complete the campaign to unlock Ratchet for Multiplayer Mode, there is another way to do it. Go on the Unlockables screen, then press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Start. Ratchet will be made immediately available.
